I love being scared, and Fear at the Pier delivers. The haunted house is genuinely terrifying. I screamed so loud my throat was sore. The actors are fantastic and really get into character. Forget the big fancy mini-golf places. Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf is where it’s at. I love that it’s affordable, so the whole family can play without breaking the bank. The best part? There was no line at all when we went. We walked right up and started putting. I conquered the course (okay, I lost, but it was close). The Yacuma and Swamp Ape themed holes are so much fun. They even have poutine at the snack shack, which was surprisingly delicious. It’s a compact course but packs in a ton of charm.
