Wings in Panama City are a serious business, no matter which side of the bridge you’re on. You can chase smoked beauties at a brick-walled brewery or grab a dozen from a waterfront bar while the sun melts into the Gulf.

One thing holds true across this list: the sauce-to-crunch ratio matters more than the view. I’ve eaten my way through buckets of them, and yes, a few ended up on my shirt.

These are the orders worth crossing town for.

810 Entertainment is a one-stop shop for fun. We started with bowling, then grabbed some food. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially with our group. The arcade kept the kids busy for hours. They even had vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise. The milkshake bar was a hit with everyone. It's loud and energetic, but that's the point. The fries were hot and crispy. It's not a quiet date spot, but for family entertainment, it's perfect. I'd recommend it for birthdays or a casual night out.

It's touristy, but the food holds up. Service was attentive without hovering. If you want beachfront dining with a fun vibe, this is it.

Hammerhead Fred's has a fun, kitschy name, but the food is serious. The oysters were the highlight. We tried them raw and grilled, both excellent. The grilled ones had a nice char. The service from Becky was legendary. She remembered our drink orders and cracked jokes all night. The tornadoes, their special, were a weird but tasty mix. The flies were a minor annoyance outdoors, but it didn't ruin the experience. If you love seafood with personality, this place has it. I'd come back for those oysters.

Salty Sue's Restaurant is the definition of casual beach-side dining. The service was outstanding and fast. I didn't wait long for my food. It's a simple menu, but everything was cooked right. The fish sandwich was fresh and had a nice crunch. It's a great spot for a quick meal before hitting the beach. No frills, just solid food and friendly faces. The place was busy with families and surfers. Prices were reasonable too. If you want something easy and reliable, this is a good bet. I'll be back.

Mosey's Downtown has enormous pizza slices. Each one practically hangs off the plate. The crust was crispy on the bottom, just how I like it. The toppings tasted fresh. The bar area is dark and moody, which is good for a casual hangout. It's definitely worth the wait, even during peak hours. Service was efficient. I had a beer with my slice, and it was a perfect combo. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. If you're hungry for a big, satisfying slice, this is your spot.

Saturday: 10:30 AM–2:30 AM
Highlights
Inconsistent pizza quality
Friendly, attentive service
Limited but adequate seating
Convenient outdoor tables
Worth trying for local flavor

Zollo's Pizza has good service, I'll give them that. The staff were friendly and attentive. But the pizza itself was inconsistent. One slice had great cheese, another was doughy. They have outdoor tables, which is nice for people watching. It's a decent spot for a quick bite, though. The prices are fair. I wouldn't call it a destination, but if you're nearby and hungry, it works. The seating is a bit cramped inside. Still, the team tries hard. That counts for something. Just manage your expectations on the pie.

History Class Brewing Company nails the vibe. It's a brick-walled brewery with a great local feel. The smoked wings are the star. They were juicy and had that perfect smoky kick. The staff treated me like a regular from the moment I walked in. Fast service, even when it got busy. The pretzel with beer cheese was a solid starter. I loved the casual, knowledgeable atmosphere.
